Background

2010 – Joined CCP Games in Iceland as a QA Tester on the game EVE Online
2012 – Moved into a Security Analyst role at CCP Games, working across both corporate security and EVE Online
2014 – Joined Syndis (Est. 2013), as a Security Engineer
2014 – Created the first version of what would because Adversary.io, a security training platform for developers
2014 to 2016 – Taught application security for developers at Reykjavik University, Reykjavik Open University, and in-house corporate classes
2016 – Received funding from the Icelandic Research Center to develop Adversary.io into a proper product
2018 – Adversary.io spun out from Syndis as a separate company
2019 – Went full-time on Adversary.io as CTO
2020 – Adversary.io acquired by Secure Code Warrior [Press release]
2021 – Syndis acquired by Origo [Press release]
